We still have that in our todo list, but we did not have any other request to add it, so it never made it to the short list of priorities. I will relay the information internally and estimate how much effort it would be to add it. We tracked the error on our side, and it seems that your wordpress installation is not sending the default user agent on http requests. We checked wordpress’ source, and this has not ben changed recently.

Would you have any plugin that could have disabled or changed the user agent sent by your wordpress site?

We’re sorry for the impression you got. We had to suspend the free plan last Friday (3 days before your post) because we’re getting lots of registration and needed to scale up our server infrastructure. We did not have the time to update all the mentions about the free plan as it was a rushed decision and we obviously did not want that suspension to last too long. In the meantime, we were offering (right on our site, in the price table), a coupon that was giving the premium plan for 30 days.

We opened up the free account again a few hours ago, so feel free to create your account. Again, we apologize for the wrong impression you got, and we hope you’ll update your review based on your experience with the product

This error would happen if your server cannot contact ours within 10 seconds… which is a very long time.

We just contacted you by email as it will be faster to understand what’s happening, as these forums don’t make it easy (no file upload, etc)

Recording is independent from you being logged or not. As soon as you enable recording on the pages — and keep the plugin enabled of course –, we track all page views and clicks (without no sampling) from every visitor of your site ??
Note also that we do not record your activity while you are logged in so you don’t add any bias to the statistics.

The Alt key on Mac may be called “option” on an older Mac model and is usually between the Control and Command keys.

If the bookmarklet says that there is no heatmap tag, you may be on a page that does not have the tag, like your admin panel on your WordPress site.

Just leave your admin panel from your wordpress and go on your site. Then, click the heatmap button in your admin bar at the top of your window to trigger our sidebar and display the heatmap.
