Can you try the alternative ways (Alt+Shift+H, bookmarklet), and let us know how it goes? The button at the top is essentially doing the same thing as the bookmarklet, and both Alt+Shift+H and the bookmarklet work for me on your page.

If nothing happens, when you click on the heatmap button in the admin bar, I assume you have something in your browser blocking our script. Please check your adblocker(s) and privacy-related extensions. Some of them block our scripts since we are effectively tracking users.

Note that we have started working on improving our on-boarding and wordpress plugin to detect if our scripts were blocked and show some warnings.

In the meantime, I can only recommend anyone facing this issue to check their adblocker(s) settings. Some of them block tracking scripts, which of course heatmap is, even though we anonymize all data.

We definitely can help! Mind reaching us by email so we can pull your account and look at your data? As is, all I have is your wordpress username and it’s not enough to help you

Heatmap does not support this kind of filtering yet, but the good news is that we have started work on it. It’s a complex issue as it needs a major rebuild on how we store the click events.

As of now, you could split your mobile/desktop traffic, but you would lose the aggregated heatmap across devices. We can definitely help you with this, and would appreciate if you could follow up via your account or by email to [email protected] (we can’t hook up our ticket system to www.remarpro.com forums)

sure, once the plugin is installed, simply visit your own site, and activate the recording for the desired pages (up to 5 if you are using the Free license).
As soon as it’s active the heatmap will show clicks in realtime. If your audience is sparse, please allow a couple of days. We usually recommend a couple hundred to thousand clicks to analyse statistically relevant numbers.

A few clarifications:
– the plugin itself is a plugin to use heatmap.me in your wordpress site. It’s not a standalone plugin
– heatmap.me has a free plan available, since the launch in Oct 2013. It is NOT a free trial, but a totally free plan
– https://heatmap.me/#plans-pricing is pretty clear about what the free version and the paid versions have to offer
– we do indeed promote our paid plans here and there, as some of our customers would like to get more than the free plan. But there is no obligation at all
With all that in mind, I don’t think you gave the plugin a fair review.
