I have been in touch with our hosting provider.

There is no way to bypass the CDN but the issue was they were caching the pages for us.

They have added a rule that bypasses the cache on that page and now the plugin is working properly.

Upon second review, I have realised that the cookie policy plugin I am using is not by complianz. I did install the complianz plugin in a period of testing but uninstalled shortly after.

Why are there still cookies showing up for complianz on my website?

I believe we have a CDN on our hosting package but I don’t think we are using any caching plugins or softwares anywhere else.

The only reason I can think that could stop other sites scraping my site is that I have installed Wordfence Pro and have a country block for every user outside of the UK.

Would this cause the problem?

Thanks to everyone who took a look.

I had previously installed WordFence on my site. When I transferred over, the files did not do so completely and the .htaccess file still had the WordFence code.

This caused my site to stop working properly.

That is the issue. Because my site redirects me to the wrong url.

My wp-config file now looks like this;

define('WP_DEBUG', true);
define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);

.

But I still have no debug.log file in the wp-content directory.

I am hosting with an external provider, so I don’t know if they’ll change this for me.
