hey thanks for that! I actually had a white border around the image, so i just removed that & that moved it up a bit! thanks for the idea! & thanks for offering to fix it! this really helped!!!

yeah I’ve been playing around with the size, when i make it smaller the space above does look better. But ideally I would like my image bigger & less space between the header & image. I was thinking if somehow I could insert the image in the page title spot, this would bring the image closer to the header. or if i could delete just this page title all together (even though I don’t have the page named – its just leaving blank space) this may move the image up closer to the header as well. I don’t know what to do! But I am really unhappy with the look of my main page right now.

thanks jumalian! for some reason though, this isn’t changing mine! I don’t know if its because the space on my page is because of the space left for the title of the page (not the header) because I am using my main page as just an image. still stuck! thanks tho!

thanks purzlnaum, but i already have the autofocus theme its just on my main page i choose too use a only an image & just can’t get the space beween the image & my logo to be smaller. any advice?

jumalian – how did you get a minimum space between your site name & your post…my site has a fairly large gap between my first image & my site name.

OK I just looked at my site in firefox & safari & it looks the same. I don’t have Internet Explorer because I have a mac.
now, the thing is I am happy with the spacing on my other pages (about, contact – the distance from the title to the logo) so its just the main page. if i change anything it will affect all pages won’t it?

I cant’ get the html to work. I also noticed on my other images where the copyright is apprearing, this removed some of the right click options as well! I usually work on this too late at night & don’t remember how I did some stuff! Read too much & remember too little. I shoudl really write this all down!

thats a great idea to watermark all my images. I am just so confused how I ever go this copyright on here now. I really like it, I just I would just like to know where I can edit the (c) 2010 Jessica. Because I remember choosing that I wanted it to just say “Jessica” I just don’t know where. & every image I continue to add has this appear on it, but my main page image, & I’ve even tried readding it.
So I’ll try the html on the main image. thanks again for the help!

That actually moves my main logo down, where as I am just trying to have the main image more up a bit because I find the placement of the titles on the other pages are in a great place, I just don’t like my main page.

I didn’t figure out how to get the text to flow past the image, but changing the font size was done in the style.css
.single .post h2.entry-title, .single .attachment h2.entry-title{background:transparent;font-size:2.0em;font-weight:100;letter-spacing:-0.05em;line-height:1.2em;margin:0.5em 0 0.25em;padding:0;}

I changed my font size to 2.0em. Because of this I no longer tried to fix the text flowing past the image i guess. So I would still like the answer to this if anyone has it.
