Hi Mark,
Thanks for the update!
I was confused as to why I wasn’t seen wordfence in the plugins list or dashboard, even after attempting to install several times. I was able to see the folder via FTP though. Just uninstalled it from there and re installed WF via wordpress plugins.
Love love this plug in and recommend it to others. Thanks so much for being my security blanket ??
Hi Elliot,
Sorry for the late reply. I actually found the “Let users pick plain text or HTML” box and unchecked it as follows:
1. Log in to mail chimp
2. Sign up forms
3. Check off the HTML/Text box
4.Updated, cleaned browser’s cache and then WP cache.Update: Actually I just realized I didn’t do this step you suggested after changes (Once that’s changed, navigate back to the MailChimp setup page for your WordPress account and click the Update Subscribe Form Settings button, and you’re plugin should be updated.)
Voila it works! Elliot you are officially my hero :)Thanks so very much for your time and efforts. I truly appreciate it. It now works after updating the settings. woo hoo!
Hi Elliot,
Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. I followed all of the steps including the reading the article, but when I go to check my form, even after deleting the cache both in WP and my browser I don’t see any changes.
I checked off the boxes for the( Required? Visible?) fields. Is that correct?
In the event I didn’t explain correctly here is a screen shot of what I mean.
Thanks again ??

In reply to: [YARPP - Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] Excluding certain "pages"Jeff,
I was looking into this to try and resolve myself but had to come back. My issues is different than Christina’s because I am not trying to remove “all pages” from displaying in related posts. I’d like certain pages NOT TO APPEAR in related posts.
It is complex because it is a mix of pages and posts.
For ei: I’d like pages from the “Find your condition page” to appear in related posts through out the site and blog.
However I want to “hide”: About us, Disclaimer, and Home pages so they DO NOT appear in related posts. If that makes sense.
Thanks, again–following.

In reply to: [YARPP - Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] Excluding certain "pages"Jeff,
I am trying to prevent certain pages from appearing on related posts such as: “About Us”, “Home” and “Privacy Policy” type of pages.
Thanks!

In reply to: [YARPP - Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] Excluding certain "pages"Hi Jeff,
My DB engine is MySQL. And my issue was to just “hide” certain pages. I even went as far as creating a new category called “noshow” but of course I wasn’t able to attach anything to that because… it wasn’t a post.
Thanks
Thoughts?

In reply to: [YARPP - Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] Excluding certain "pages"Hi Jeff,
Thanks for the answer and sorry for the late reply. I couldn’t find this page for the longest.
Ok so I went to the pool panel and indeed pages are next to “post types considered”. However, I noticed that when you create a page in WP there isn’t an option to store it under categories. Additionally there isn’t an add tags option either :(.
Is there another way around this?
Thanks again for taking the time to answer ??

In reply to: [Mailchimp List Subscribe Form] Remove Placeholder TextHi mc_dominic,
I have been trying to figure out for days how to fix the field issues on my form (right side bar)
https://www.healyounaturally.com/blog/
I’ve been to my local CSS, to the plug in’s CSS, and followed your instructions above but nothing.
I checked in firebug and see this:
input:valid, textarea:valid { margin: 5px 0; width: 270px; }
When I check off the width (the fields automatically get smaller and no longer show outside the form).
I have no idea where to find this.
Also I had added this code:
mc_input {width: 120px; height: 20pt; float: right; }
to my local CSS but even after dissabling it still doesn’t work. Help!!!Thanks

In reply to: [Mailchimp List Subscribe Form] Works, sortof, but full of bugsHi Guys,
While I love MC’s email service I decided to come up and put in my two cents about this plug in. I also spent hours on and off trying to figure out how to customize it and it looks absolutely horrible on the side bar.
@steven, Yes I unchecked the apply customizations but I am not sure why on earth last name and those other fields stay. All I am looking for is a simple way to say. “Join my mailing list, then a input field for them to enter the email addy and submit” Voila!
That isn’t difficult. Frustrating is an understatement. So much that I abandoned that option and started using a scroller which I am not to fond of as of right now but I had to do something.
Developers should really get it together and give us something simple that works and looks good. Usuability is important but come on. As a former developer usability does nothing if the user has no clue on how to work the app.
I truly hope it gets fixed!

In reply to: [Page navi slider] Newbie needs help with adding codeOK I am going to go ahead and try it again, after the update and see what’s up.
Sure here it is: https://pastebin.com/61wVvNrS
Also, was wondering how do I get this to paginate on both posts and pages? It worked on the blog but not the pages. I am assuming past that code in the pages.php correct?
Hope I can get this working finally ??
Thanks
Andy,
I am having the same issue, except it is only for recommend posst.
Can you please rerun my website?
Thanks,
Good Day,
I had to reinstall after the new update, but now my related posts aren’t showing images and it isn’t pulling my blog posts or my main “Condition pages”.
Is it due to re indexing my site? If so, could you please do so for https://www.healyounaturally.com?
Thanks much!

In reply to: [Page navi slider] Newbie needs help with adding codeIznogood,
So I added this code to my nav.php and it worked for a bit, then I went to check today and it no longer works waaaa! I refuse to install another plug in as I love this one.
Could it be conflicting with other plug ins?
Also I am not sure what you mean with the index.php file?
Can’t figure out what is wrong now.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Page navi slider] Newbie needs help with adding codeHi Iznogood1,
Thanks for this great plug in– have been looking for it for ages.
I installed it, customized it, placed the code right before the “get_footer” command, and it didn’t work for me. I have a website and a blog.
Should I place that script before the </body> tag? Thanks in advance
