OK…I temporarily changed to Twenty Eleven and the lightboxes for my thumbnail galleries started working.

Will I have to restructure my homepage again if I switch to a Twenty Series theme?

Done…unfortunately, did not work. Still no lightbox.

There does appear to be a coding error in my thumbnail galleries. When I expect the element, the following error appear…

Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <
Uncaught ReferenceError: $j is not defined

Any ideas what these mean?

@photocrati Yes, tried the reset option as well. Nothing changed.

And yes, the only problem I’m having is getting the Fancybox to appear once you click on a thumbnail.

@photocrati Ok…just deactivated NextGen Gallery Optimizer and the same issue still occurs…no lightbox.

I also have this plugin…Huge IT lightbox. It’s currently deactivated. Is it needed w/NextGen Gallery.

@photocrati YES…went through those troubleshooting steps before I posted above.

The problem with my NextGen Thumbnail Gallery has been fixed.

My hosting company moved my website to a server w/a newer version of php.
This fixed the problem.

Still no slideshow on homepage but that seems to be because NextGen disabled the support of Flash Slideshows.

My homepage slideshow may not be working anymore due to the following update posted in December 2014.

Flash slideshow support has been removed from NextGEN Gallery. Please see this blog post for more information.

This is the code that appears on my website pages that I’ve inserted the NextGen Thumbnail Gallery.

I’ve gone through the steps in the link above as you suggested. Same problem still persists.

I will try some of the advanced options and reply back.

First page would be https://www.hdtheagency.com/home/
The main image is actually a slide show. It worked before w/NextGen but when I updated to WP 4.1.1 it stopped. The slideshow presentation will only work now if I deactivate the NextGen plug in.

This page https://www.hdtheagency.com/home/editorials/ shows an example of the issues I’m having with NextGen Thumbnail Gallery not appearing. Again, it worked fine before I updated to WP 4.1.1. The only NextGen gallery that I can get to work other pages like this is NextGen Basic Image Browser.

Yes, I’ve done as you suggested on two occasions and the same problems persist each time.
