I am using the Agent theme/ Genesis from studio press. I have tried this option but it has a notice saying…

The current theme does not natively support menus, but you can use the “Custom Menu” widget to add any menus you create here to the theme’s sidebar.

Is there a way around this?

I have added the a page of posts template but I am struggling to get the post category to show.

Do I need to create a custom feild and what code do I need to define the value of the category.

I have tried the <?php get_posts(‘security’); ?> coding and various other ones.

Or should I be using the query posts if so what parts of the code do I need to change?

If you open the page to edit, under the page title you can edit the permalink. Just delete the 2.
