For your second question: Go to your dashboard, and on the left side menu click on pages – add new. Then if you want that page to appear on your header/footer menu, then you click on appearance (also on the left side menu) and then click header.

This is what I’m looking at… whenever I try to change any of those settings (padding etc), it does nothing

Also, whenever I try to put the above text pixel height to 100, only the top quarter of my image shows up. So then I have to change it back to 700 which moves my text very low.
