I don’t want them to be able to do that, or access the interworkings of the system at all. And some of them wouldn’t give me an e-mail address anyway. I cover NM politics, and some of the guest columns are from elected officials and others like that.

What sort of membership plugin?

I was able to create the user with an e-mail address no other users were using… but I still need to be able to create users with the e-mail address I have set up to allow multiple users under.

Alrighty, so I’m looking for the converse option: My contributors are receiving notification when commenters submit comments on their posts, and I don’t want them to receive those notifications.

My options are set up so that I receive e-mail notification and that all comments must be moderated and that only registered users can comment.

Any ideas?

I’m in the process of cleaning up the code, but I have another question: Can I use the id “more-posts” more than once on the site, or is it only that you can’t use it more than once on a page? Right now I’m using it twice on the site, but the two will never appear at the same time. It’s easy enough to create a “more-posts2” if I need to, just wondering if I need to — and if that might be part the initial problem that got me here.

I even have the php code widget, so I plugged that code into a widget instead of into the page code and it worked great.

Maiskolben, what code would I add to that to have it appear only on the home page? I do use Widget Logic, so I assume it somehow includes the code “!is_home().”

So there’s no way to manipulate it?

I’m talking about the section at the bottom of the left column titled “Recent comments.” I’d like to be able to use that widget twice, but when I put it into the left column, it’s not also left behind in the widgets area for me to put in a second time somewhere else on the site.

Alright, done. In the posting at the top of the right column on the home page (https://www.nmpolitics.net/index/2009/12/this-is-open-bipartisan-government-at-work/) the “Guest column” image (https://www.nmpolitics.net/index/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/Guest-column1.jpg) is the primary image. It doesn’t show up on the home page.

In the second article in the right column on the home page (https://www.nmpolitics.net/index/2009/12/when-they-really-enjoy-the-very-best-fatalities/) the photo of Michael Swickard (https://www.nmpolitics.net/index/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/Swickard-for-about-page-31.jpg) is the primary image. It does appear on the home page.

My site is live, so I don’t want to leave an example of it not working posted on the site. I need those images on the home page. But tell me… would it really be helpful to post an example of it not working?

This is the only one that doesn’t work as expected.

I still don’t understand. Like I said, the style for the date in the widget comes through as it’s supposed to from the CSS file, but the style for the headline is not coming through (the text remains at the normal size instead of at 13px). I have no idea why part of the style sheet is working but not the rest.

You solved it? How?
