In reply to: [Contact Form DB] Forms only added to DB when logged inI recently found the cause of the problem. The database settings…
An employee changed the settings without notification. Basically it comes down to this.
Signed in users have permission to update/delete and if not logged in, users have read only.I don’t exactly know how he did it, it’s not a plugin or wordpress error.
Not an answer, but some additional information:
I have the same problem, when i use two forms at one page it completely breaks the page.
[si-contact-form form='2'] [si-contact-form form='3']
I have tried it in a <table>, same result.

In reply to: [Contact Form DB] Forms only added to DB when logged inHi, I know it has been a long time. But I tested Contact form 7 and disabled all other plugins. Still no luck.
The wp version i’m using is: 3.4.2
Fast secure contactform: 3.1.5.5
And the db plugin: 2.4.2

In reply to: Looking ok but could be better – your feedback neededThis isn’t meant personal:
1. I think it’s too much scrolling (display less posts on the front page and use read more more)
2. paragraphs are a little too long for my taste(use shift + enter to insert a break instead of a new paragraph)
3. There are too many widgets in the sidebar(Keep what is necessary and/or move some to the footer, or use dynamic widgets plugin)
4. Keep your sentences shorter, example: Both credit and debit cards are essential tools they will have to get to grips with by the time they are adults, and by the time today’s children grow up and become financially independent, credit and debit cards are probably going to be even more important, especially if cash use continues to decline.I lost my attention reading this sentence, because I lost track which line i was reading.
5. https://www.thefinancialfairytales.com/blog/money-smart-magazine/ The widgets cause scrolling, that’s not a really good idea i think.
The theme looks splendid I think.
Well, I hope you can use my honest opinion and don’t feel insulted.
Forum: Localhost Installs
In reply to: Install just fine UNTIL I change the root SQL passwordIf I understand correctly, you only changed the password in your WP install(the config files). The WP password should match your mySQL password. Be sure to change the password in the mySQL environment too.
Start your EasyPHP’s MySQLAdministration and set the root password there as well.

In reply to: links to blog posts brokenHi, to prevent hacking I suggest you install wp-better security or anything alike. It prevented a few hacks at my install. Beside that it detects changed files. you can even report it to your e-mail on a daily basis.
Might prevent further hacks in the future.
I don’t know how they hacked you, but the most simple version might be to redirect trough .htaccess. You might want to check the contents of that file (it’s a hidden file, so be sure to set hidden files visible).

In reply to: Blank Main Page and all of the aboveDid you check your FTP if those files were actually missing? Maybe something went wrong with uploading the WP-install folder. Your’re not using your old data right, a completely fresh install of the DB?

In reply to: Site VanishedI guess you could ask BT to restore the whole WP installation. Before you do that, you could find your post it the DB and see if the message is screwed up there too. If the message isn’t messed up restoring the WP-install might be best. And try to disable all plugins and see what it does(I suspect nothing, but just a standard check I do when something goes wrong).

In reply to: front page slider has stopped workingHi, I’ve looked at the source of the homepage and noticed:
https://www.wackynation.com/wp-content/plugins/premium-slider/js/jquery.easing.js?ver=1.3and
https://www.wackynation.com/wp-content/plugins/premium-slider/js/premium.slider.js?ver=1.0.8
To me it almost seems 2 versions of the same plugin have been installed. Try take a look at you plugins page and activate only one at a time.
Or try deactivating them both and see what happens.
