Good question – we are locked into using PHP 7.4 and can not upgrade.
Is that the issue?

Could you uninstall (deactivate and delete) my plugin then
re-install the latest version of wordpress
then re-install my plugin
and see if that fixes the problem

Try this…

• Install the plugin
• Activate the plugin
• Type [CATS_BY_TAGS_TABLE] on a page or a post
• View the page or post and see what you get…

OK i couldn’t find an easy answer to this but i have got a bit of a fix for empty rows (don’t ask about empty columns that will be impossible!)

Try v 2.13 and see if that fixes your problems.

I looked into your site and it is these categories which are causing each of the 5 blank lines:

Sorry i’m really struggling with this one.

I was only able to generate empty rows on my site by either:
* adding a post to an Child Category
* Deleting all the posts from an existing category
* adding a password protected post to an otherwise empty category

Can you empty the trash to clear deleted posts?
then delete all Categories and Tags that have no posts in them?
check you have no posts in child-categories?

Then tell me if the problem remains.

i’ve no idea – but i’ll look into it and see if i can fix it.

Try Version 2.12 and see how you like it.

I don’t think you can get the header border lines to rotate in any browser, but i will have a play with the text rotation system you have found to see if i can get the text to rotate the full 90 degrees like it used to do in IE8.

Unfortunately the rotating header text was only ever supported in Internet Explorer, and seems to be no longer supported since IE 9. What browser are you using?

I’m not sure why you have some blank columns, do you have any hidden tags or categories or any deleted ones?

Ok i guess we are half way there at least!

i can’t get the same error at my end, so it might be that it is conflicting with one of your other plug-ins. Can you deactivate all except Cats-by-Tag and see if it still gives the error.

in the meantime i’ll do a bit more research
