The free version of Leaflet Maps Marker has been sunsetted 5 years ago and is no longer supported. This means we are unable to provide troubleshooting assistance for issues related to the discontinued version.
However, we encourage you to try our Maps Marker Pro, which includes enhanced features, improved stability, and premium support. You can easily upgrade using the integrated Pro upgrader within your existing plugin.
If you need a powerful and reliable mapping solution with ongoing updates and support, we highly recommend giving Maps Marker Pro a try!

In reply to: [WP Dev Flag] Plugin breaks theme customiserUpdate: line 59 in class-wp-dev-flag-settings.php is causing this issue:
add_action( 'customize_register', 'color_picker' );
Not sure how to fix this, so I disabled the line and customiser worked again.

In reply to: [Shariff Wrapper] Feature Request: Add Support for Bluesky Media ButtonFYI – I created an unofficial 4.6.15 version with support for Bluesky – you can download and test it from https://www.mapsmarker.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/shariff-4.6.15-Bluesky-integriert.zip
@starguide: I basically duplicated every (relevant) occurance of twitter/x and replaced it with Bluesky integration code, added a custom SVG & increased the version number. What I am not sure about is, how “via @usernames” are handled: I added a settings field to enter one′s username, which filters out the @ sign like for other accounts but then when creating the via message on bluesky, it adds the @ for the username again, as otherwise the account is not linked. It would be great if you could check my code and add it as official new version.
your linked maps load correctly for me

In reply to: [SEO Engine] Utterly Disappointing and Unresponsive SupportAs user of this plugin I must respectfully disagree with this negative review of SEO Engine. Unlike many bloated, over-promising SEO plugins, this one provides clean, functional optimization without being a resource hog. Here’s my experience:
Easy Setup: Installed the plugin with zero problems across several sites. I understand occasional issues can happen with any plugin, but the breadth of this reviewer’s experience seems like an anomaly.
Efficient Tools: The meta title and description generation works smoothly, saving time and ensuring basics are covered. The ability to override those fields manually makes customization simple.
Developer is in it for the Right Reasons: Jordy has created many other great plugins like The AI Engine too. His focus on functionality and a lightweight footprint is appreciated – an antidote to profit-driven plugin bloat. His Discord community is meant for peer-support, not 24/7 tech helpline.
I find him attentive to actual bug reports through official channels.
A Note to Potential Users: Don’t let a lone, harsh review stop you from trying SEO Engine. These days, finding a simple, effective, and free SEO tool is challenging. It’s obvious this developer strives to maintain quality alongside his other successful project (The AI Engine and others). It always pays to reach out through the WordPress support threads where a response is guaranteed. Blaming a lone developer for problems that may stem from site-specific conflicts is unfair. Give SEO Engine a try, see how it performs for you, and be patient with developers of smaller, but impactful projects. Let’s all support honest work and innovation in the WordPress space!
Hi Kenneth,
I think the issue was related to a WAF issue – once this was solved, the wpforms issues also did not occur anymore. So the issue can be closed IMO.
best,
Robert
Same issue here on several sites with different configurations – please release a fix ASAP please
We use the plugin “WP-Matomo Integartion” to integrate the tracking code, currently by using /js/index.php as small proxy for calling the tracking script, so that the chance to get blocked by adblockers is lower. We don′t have any iframes.
We also currently set IP anonymization in Matomo to the last two digits (192.168.xxx.xxx) for privacy reasons, but we find it unlikely that most users visiting our website will have the same IP range and even if, this would not explain the discrepancies in page views.
Anyway I will try setting
trust_visitors_cookies = 1
in Matomo as advised at https://matomo.org/faq/how-to/faq_175/ and will check if this makes any difference.
If you have any further ideas, please let me know. Anyway thanks for your prompt help!
best,
Robert
Hi Danny,
thanks for your prompt response. Figures from Koko Analytics are not lower but way higher than Matomo, examples (date: unique visitors/page views Kokos Analytics vs Matomo):
13.9.: 254/448 vs 143/263
14. 9.: 362/650 vs 230/428
Could it be that Matomo doesn’t count that many bots, as at least from their changelog I see that the bot list is updated regularly?
Best,
Robert
