Thank you for your suggestion. Yes this really could be an useful feature. We had even tried to add this but couldn’t make it happen through the comment query modification hooks. Seems it require to execute the custom comment query in the comment’s template of the theme to sort the comments.

If you have any solutions to this through the hooks then please let us know.

Thank you for your review. We have checked in your site and it seems you are not using native WordPress comment but using the wordpress.com comment. Are you?

Our plugin only works for the native WordPress comment and won’t work with jetpack comment system because comments from wordpress.com are loaded in an iframe which none of the plugin will have any control over.

And we had also clearly mentioned in our FAQs that if your theme’s comment template is not using the comment_text filter then our like dislike button may not show because that is hook we are using to append our like dislike button.

And also please make a habit of asking in support before giving a negative rating.

Thank you for writing to us. As per our plugin’s functionality, we haven’t done any restrictions for page so it shall appear in the page’s comments too if your comments template has comment_text filter.

Are like dislike button showing on your post’s comment?

Hello onepack,

The issue with the JS may be occurring due to conflict with some other plugin’s js. Can you please check once by disabling all other plugins and switching theme to default WP themes such as twenty seventeen or twenty sixteen? Please let us know the result after that.

We are afraid that that cannot be achieved currently because we are using comment_text filter to append like and dislike icons and comment_text filter is the filter available for the comment text.

Regarding showing IP, that IP is not of the website but the public IP of the site visitor for comments IP restriction which is different for each visitor.So that shouldn’t be much of a security issue.

But still, if we could figure any other workaround then we will definetly hide the public IP too.

We really appreciate your writing in. We are bit unclear with your issue. Do you mean to show the like and dislike buttons for only logged in users? If yes then you can use cld_like_dislike_html filter to check if users are logged in or not. Please go to help section for more detail regarding this filter.
