the hosting company. then they moved it to our website because we needed to add plugins. That’s when they say they no longer support it.
They claim the default at installation is wordpress_content
No, it is about 3 months old. But populated with content. We’re trying to add wish list and this is when we noticed the naming problem.
So, is there a way for us to change it?
The hosting company aplus.net states that they don’t service wordpress when it is on our domain.

the string is as the hosting company set up. (have sll certificate).
We understand some plugins cant work with the folder name “wordpress_content”. e.g. Wish List.
So we’re trying change the folder name to wp_content. Is there another way?

example.com/public/wordpress/ wordpress_content wp_admin wp_includes files
It is the “wordpress_content” folder that we want to change to “wp_content”
no. but the file wordpress_content folders contains these folders (and one file): backup languages plugins themes upgrade uploads index.php
