In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Plugin won't show calendarsThe Simple Calendar hasn’t returned when I updated the PHP, or even recognised that PHP updating has taken place.
I tried to put in a new WordPress calendar to link with Google, but three of them have appeared at the top of the website and they don’t interface with Google properly.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Plugin won't show calendarsHi,
I updated the PHP to meet the criteria, but the Simple Calendar hasn’t returned (or even recognised that updating had taken place, which is odd).
I tried to put in a new WordPress calendar to link with Google, but three of them have appeared at the top of the website and they don’t interface with Google properly.
Please advise.
Thank you.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Plugin won't show calendarsHi,
I did some Theme and Plugin updates today and now I can’t see my Simple calendar. When I went to the plugin to try and get it going, this message came:
Simple Calendar could not be activated.
Required PHP version: 5.3.3 – Version found: 5.2.17
Please update to meet Simple Calendar requirements. How do I update PHP – I couldn’t find the appropriate plugin. Any help would be appreciated.
My website is: https://handweavers.org.nz/
WordPress version: 4.5.1
Hi,
I’m still having the above problems… please help.
Hi there,
My WordPress site is running version 4.3.1.
When I try to access the Updates and the new Plugins ready for adding, I get ‘Internal Server Error’ with this:
“The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”
Not sure how to rename plugins folders if that needs doing.
If you can help, that would be great.
Thank you.
Hi,
Many thanks, it’s fixed. ??
Hello,
I’m having a problem with Google Calendar. When I log in to the website I maintain as admin, the message ‘An error has occurred / Bad request’ appears four times above the calendar.
Here is a link to the page: https://handweavers.org.nz/
The error message doesn’t appear when you go to the website itself as Joe Public, though.
I’m up to date with the latest version of WordPress.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
