Would you mind trying to use the embed code from Youtube video directly instead of just pasting the link in the testimonial body? (go to the Youtube and click Share to get that) This should work as far as I recall.

Thanks for the screencast – very helpful! I appreciate the words as well – we’ll do what we can to help you with these issues that are arising.

I’d say go ahead and ignore the fact that the preview is the Barista Guy. You can still style the testimonial the way you’d like with him as a standin. When you like how the basic structure looks, you can then generate shortcode. After you’ve generated the shortcode in your page or post, see if it’s working on the live page or post.

Hey John,

If you insert the shortcode into the page/post after selecting Random, does it display your created testimonials randomly upon page refreshes? This should be what happens – the barista guy is only there as a fallback when there’s not a specific testimonial selected.

Thanks for reaching out about this! You’re current, the only current class is ‘hndtst’ – but that will an effect on every element type within the testimonial.

I’d be happy to add some additional classes. Right now I’m thinking a class each of the following:
1) titles
2) subtitles
3) images
4) testimonial body text

Are there any others that you think we should implement?

We have worked to make Handsome Testimonials responsive on both tablets and mobile devices, though we find that there are sometimes issues with particular sites and themes that may not play nicely. If you’d like, we’d be happy to take a look at the issue and see if we can figure out what’s going on! If there is something that’s amiss within our plugin, we’d certainly like to know about it so that we can make sure that the plugin is as compatible on as many themes as possible.
