Hi there,
We went through a big security update a few years ago to improve security, so unless they’ve found new problems, it should be safe. That said, we don’t maintain it any longer. Most of the things they found originally were in our opinion, hardly security holes at all. Nonetheless, we fixed everything they (WordPress) brought to our attention.

It seems you might be using the Pro version of the plugin, since rotating testimonials on the site can only happen with the Pro version. Please feel free to contact us if you still need help with this!

Are you still having trouble with this? We just tested with all the latest versions of WP, WooCommerce, and ShopMagic and all is working for us. Are you sure you have WooCommerce activated? Sometimes we’ve noticed 500 errors when Woo is accidentally or temporarily deactivated. Also, please clear any caching plugins you have on your website as well as try clearing your browser cache to see if that helps.

Whoops I misspoke above, the issue *should* be resolved now with the latest version!
