what do you mean it’s not a child theme?
the theme that is activated at the moment is the parent theme but I have created and used before a child theme. I did not use a plugin to make it. I had created it manually by naming it themename-child and creating a style.css file inside it with the @import url commands.
I followed the wordress codex instructions. is this wrong? should I use a plugin?

I did all that. I have uninstalled and re-installed but it didn’t resolve the issue.

you’re right but it seems they don’t provide an actual support and this is key. I am waiting to get a response from the authors for a while now. very disappointed.

I have tried everything I can think off or read about and the problem persist.
Still no response from the plugin’s author.

this app id is the one I have created for the facebook comments plugin but it doesn’t seem to be valid.
I removed it from the OGraph settings but I keep getting the error. why is that?
