In reply to: Menu not workingIt’s working for me? Maybe if it doesn’t work hit Shift+F5 and see if it clears your browser?

In reply to: Plugin disappeared, how do I safely completely remove?Thanks for your response, @abletec. But what about the database? If I leave little bits of old plugins in there, it’s just going to add up and possibly cause issues in the future?

In reply to: [Slider by Supsystic] Huge gap between slider and thumbnailsThank you for your response. I would suggest that this be added to the warning “() images are smaller than the slider”, to also say “this will cause layout issues, please resize” so users know what’s up! Thanks ??

In reply to: [Frontier] No option to change page templateSorry, I was mistaken: I was trying to make posts full width, not pages.
Sepk, did you try finding it in Quick Edit? Also, I found evidence there is a way to “enable” page templates, but I have no idea where it is.
Thank you for your reply ??
Marked topic as resolved.
Omg I love you! Great plugin, btw. Thanks for fast response!

In reply to: [NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster] SNAP posting as profile not pageMmhmm, yes, checked that already, made sure it was set both app attempts that I created. It still is posting as the person and not the page. Thanks for your reply! But that’s not it. On a side note, those instructions do not match the current Facebook layout.

In reply to: [MDJM Event Management] Cannot view contract pagesIt looks like this is a conflict between MDJM and the WordPress plugin Events Manager. Even though Events Manager didn’t have a page “Contract”, when Events Manager was disabled, the contract page showed up for MDJM.
I checked my domain in my control panel at my internet host, and it says I am using php 5.5, so I’m not sure what you are talking about.

In reply to: [Quick Chat] Use wp core smiliesI use WP Mona Lisa Smiles (or something like that) I have changed the urls in this plugin and now my chat shows my animated smilies!! It’s awesome ^^ Thanks again.

In reply to: [Quick Chat] Use wp core smiliesThat’s awesome you figured out and shared how to do that!
If I’m already using smilies that I like from another plugin everywhere else in my site, can I just replace the Quick Chat CSS like you have above with the urls I want if I rename my smileys the same name as the Quick Chat smiley names?

In reply to: [Quick Chat] Where can I find smileys for chat?I agree. This is my favorite chat plugin (continues to work great with the current version of WordPress btw, I voted!) but would really like to be able to change the smileys. I have smileys in my forums and BuddyPress, and the chat smileys do not match, either.
The Quick Chat smileys are all on one bar image. It would be great if it were changed, and they were pulled individually from a folder. That way we could swap our own smileys into that folder, just rename them. This would be especially awesome since my smileys are animated.

In reply to: [Matheson] How to reduce opacity of background?You will find most themes are like that. Most people do not want images making it difficult for people to read the text on their blogs.
You can try adding this to your child theme’s css:
#page { rgba(255,255,255,0.5); } article:nth-child(even) { rgba(247,247,247,0.2); }
But it looks like it’s going to make your author links too light, and then you’ll have to tweak them too. Try
.basic a { color: #0063B8; }
Look into Google or Firefox website editors. It does wonders for being able to customize your site.
