just wanted to say, that I talked to my provider and he suggested to use another PlugIn. However, I am pretty sure, that the problem lies on the provider site.

thanks for your response. Teh installer-log.txt did not say anything. I realized that that the size of the sql-File differed everytime I created a archive. Once it was 62, then 68, then 74, 82 etc. My DB is actually 103? Strange. Hovever in alle instances the deployment ended with not error, however I could not login because I just had 19 out of 51 tables. And one of the missing was the wp_users table.

As for the creation of the multiple .htaccess files:
My folder was empty and I just started the deployment process one time. However, when I looked in my folder it I found 6 .htacess files.

As for the archive zip file. The folder was empty. I just uploaded the archive and the installer file there with FTP. After starting the deployment process and I got the error message the folder was populated with half of the files that should be there and a new archive zip (appropriately half the size of the normal archive file) had been created.

However, I was able to solve the problem by using the two-step approach with the DB only deployment.
