OnePress Theme was able to solve the issue. It was a theme stylesheet conflict that they say they will correct with the next update. I figured sharing here might help others with similar issues.

I believe I’m having the same issue. When creating a post/page with a lot of content the blocks are sometimes showing over top of the Yoast plugin section and sometimes fall behind it (so cannot enter information). This happens with both the Gutenberg and Classic editors I believe it’s a stylesheet z-axis issue.

I have solved the issue. Thank you for all your follow up and assistance. I have no caching plugin installed in WordPress, however after digging into the web hosting settings, it turns out that the web host DID have their own caching control enabled. I disabled the cache control and now everything appears to be working properly.

Just an update – I downgraded the version of PHP to 5.6 on the site where the plugin is not working and still having the same issues.

There are almost too many differences to list – different web hosts, different server configurations, different themes, different plugins besides Simple Cart.

For troubleshooting, so far, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, turned off all other plugins, and swapped to the basic WordPress 2019 theme. The issue still occurs with no other plugins and basic theme.

I’ve also noticed if I try to increase the quantity in the cart, it empties the cart altogether.

The site where the plugin is working is running PHP 5.6
The site where the plugin is NOT working is running PHP 7.l so this may be the issue.

Yes, the category overrides are not working. I will roll back for now. Thank you for your assistance.

Having the same issue. It duplicated ALL of my links at least 4 times and gave them a “Not assigned” category. I now have to go through and delete over 1000 duplicated links. Also, all of my previous short-code inserts by category are not working.

I’m having the same problem. The header background image does not show in the smaller responsive layouts (tablet & phone). I tried removing the media query mentioned above, but there’s still nothing but a white block at the top.

Going to add my voice here in hope that the plugin developer will address this issue. The incompatibility broke all of the sites I work on too, but uploading the /includes/class-phpmailer.php file from 4.4.0 fixed it.
