I wanted to add to this. As a test, I installed this on another website I have and it worked…at first. Then I did the same thing, changed the width of the announcement to 240 and hit save. It then disappeared. I could not get it to work after that.

Hi there, I just wanted to follow through on this and let you know it was additional CSS I had, I had earlier added padding to the carousel and once I removed that CSS, the close button worked fine. Thank you for the tip.

Hi there, thank you. Yes I have tried all that and no help. I do not know how to add a Z index to the close button only? However, the three icon -elements (expand, share, and zoom) right next to the x button all work. They are all on the same line so I’m not sure if Z index would make a difference. When I activated the Hello theme, the X button was 3rd in the line instead of last, however, it still did not work and all the other buttons-icons did (again, zoom, share, expand).

Thank you for explaining that. I think I understand a little more how the feed works. I read in my research that I can ask the maker of the blog feed (blog subscription) to add image tags to that feed. Is that correct? Thanks and let me know.

Yes, while the page was published to public, it had restrictions for age and countries who could view. Since this page is age appropriate for anyone I just had remove those restrictions and it started working. The code also worked perfectly.

When I export a site, and then import it in another location, do I need to have the same theme in the place where I am importing to? My desired end result is a new website in the new location that is identical to the one I am exporting. The site I am exporting is a Theme Forest paid theme.

I am new to all of this, so sorry is this seems like a silly question.
