  • I am having a similar problem. I supplement my blog with a few local political stories from PBS and others. I have autopost on and I set the posts to go to pending and I have update feed set to every 2 hours.

My feeds are not updating at all. I did it manually and 27 appear under feed items but only 9 appear under pending in posts. The ones in pending all have the content ready to post. I like to edit and add tags. The ones in feed items only have titles.

Great plug-in though and thank you so much! so much power and flexibility. 5 stars from me. I am still trying to fine tune all the various options and settings to find what works. I only want to post around 3 to 5 max a day on my blog and choose them manually first.

Same problems here and also with Safari. It was using around 55% of load time and costing around 1.7387 seconds which is considerable. I just logged in on Firefox to make sure it wasn’t a glitch with just Safari but same results so it is not Safari.

I am running the latest version of Yoast. Wondering if we need to switch to a new SEO until this gets sorted out. Any suggestions?

I got impatient and think I sort of fixed the issue but still want to improve, My new scores are 70 Mobile and 85 Desktop. That is a big jump.

    Here is what I did.

Under Customizr settings>Skin> Performance: use the minified CSS stylesheet I turned that off. Not sure if on or off made much of difference but wanted to include this info in case it is important.

using W3 cache I went to the Minify settings and used the help wizard at the top to create some JS and CSS file rules.

I took some screenshots of the rules and made an album on imgur

Could someone please take a look at my rules and tell me how you could improve them? I really want to get my desktop score back up a bit.

Thanks Janet. I disabled around half of Jetpack and only have the ones running I really need. I agree, I think I have too many plug-ins and will work on reducing them to just the essential ones. Do you see any on my list known not to play well with each other? Or any essential plug-ins not installed I might want to add?

It is also such a huge relief to have a functional site again. It is amazing how much that show sharing buttons on homepage slowed down my website to a complete crawl.

Wow I feel dumb. I spent hours doing advanced stuff an overlooked the simplest step to check first. I don’t know how or why I did this but on the My Profile settings the “Disable the Visual Editor” option at the very top had been clicked by mistake. I unchecked that box and everything is fine again.
