In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] False reportHi Nithin,
Thanks for your message.
I think I’ve found the problem.
Somehow the html has become corrupted. This is the faulty block:
<p>You can read some of the background to this work from the council's website here: <a href="https://www.scarborough.gov.uk/.../damaged-chalets-be-demolished" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a><a href="https://www.scarborough.gov.uk/latest-news/south-bay%E2%80%99s-damaged-chalets-be-demolished" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.scarborough.gov.uk/.../...damaged-chalets-be-demolished</a></p>
So there’s an “invisible” link there which is generating the broken link report.
My fault and nothing for you to worry about ??
But it’s good your plugin found it!Best wishes,
“gwatuk”So nearly a year on this hasn’t been sorted out.
There’s just this “quick fix”.
I find that astonishing.
@edanzerHi Gaby,
The alignment is absolutely fine now on PC, tablet and phone.
I have no idea why it looked wrong yesterday.
You’re probably thinking I did something stupid like not refreshing a page, but I don’t think that was it ??
But now it’s good – and totally responsive when I change the width of my browser.
Thanks!Hello Mihai and Gaby,
This morning the galleries on my test page are working OK.
Perhaps there was something strange happening with CSS caching?
I’ll do some more checks tomorrow and see how things go.Would you like me to email you with my observations Cristian?
Same email address?Ok Cristian, I’ve just run a test and the results for you are not good.
I’m using Version 2.0.3, sadly I’m not a paying customer.
What’s this information worth?
A free upgrade so I can have a play with your Lightboxes? ??Hang on a minute Cristian, I’ll get back to you in a short while!
This for the NextGen people…Oh nooooooo!
It’s not consistent.
I’ve just used it with a different gallery and it goes wrong on a desktop (with a browser at a normal width).
(Mobile versions are OK)Have a look at https://savingsouthcliffgardens.com/nextgen/ again.
I’ve added the other gallery.
There are a different number of images.
The first is with 17 (in five columns) is OK, but the second has 16 images (in five columns) – this does wrong again.Hi Gaby,
That pretty much works.
It’s fine on mobile devices, but when I reduce the width of my browser when using a PC it still goes wrong as I described above. (The third row has a single thumbnail aligned to the right.)
This is with a windows desktop. But that’s a pretty weird thing to do!
But if you’re planning to fix this bug with a future software release you might like to include a fix for that as well.If you want to try out another version of the CSS I’d be happy to test it for you.
In the mean time THANKS VERY MUCH.Just one other thing, it would be much better if the “override thumbnail settings” was not global ??
Best wishes,
GarethPS your plugin is faster than the Modula Image Gallery ??
Sorry, that doesn’t work ??
Have you been able to reproduce the problem that I’m getting?I’m just about to change the two pages I mentioned above (design-proposals and activity-proposals) and use another plugin.
I don’t know how to post images here, so I’ve put screenshots of the problems on another page. See https://savingsouthcliffgardens.com/nextgen-demo/But this page still shows the problem: https://savingsouthcliffgardens.com/nextgen/
I’ve just realised that you can see the alignment issue on a desktop computer. If you reduce the width of the window you’re viewing it with, the grid will reduce to four columns.
The first two rows are OK.
The third row has a single thumbnail aligned to the right.
And the fourth and fifth rows are OK.
This is the the same as what you see on a tablet, and a similar problem is present on a phone. Thanks for getting back to me ??
I see what’s happened.
I had changed override thumbnail settings back to “no”.
(I hadn’t realised that this was a global setting.)Please have another look.
Also alignment problems with

You can see these on a desktop computer.Come on guys!
This is really basic!
