Figured it out. Jetpack Image Accelerator is breaking images. Turned it off.

Hi David,

I did as you suggested and compared the pristine download with the version on my website using BareBones TextWrangler and for both files got the result:

“These Files Are Identical”.

I’m not sure what it is in the code that is supposedly pressing GoDaddy’s Malware buttons. I would imagine that there should be hundreds if not thousands of WordPress installations on their sites that are raising red flags.

Trying to get me to buy their protection is just scare tactics at its worst.

I had to disconnect and reconnect Jetpack to fix an incorrect WP.me Shortlink URL issue.

It seems I’ve lost all my site stats too, which is very disturbing – since we rely on those to generate advertising.

The site is https://www.gunnerstown.com

I think the issue is that it used to be at planetgunner.com/gunnerstown… (a subdomain)

Apparently, there is a chance that you could ‘rescue’ those stats for us. If so, I’d be eternally grateful.

Hi Esmi – so, you’ve pointed me back to an earlier post I made.

Allow me to explain, if I may: I realized that it might have been more productive to create a new post dealing with each issue separately, since people might see the “Squarespace” reference in the title and think it had to do with something beyond their realm of expertise…

And is there anything i would have to change in that code you sent me? Or will it automatically go through every post and replace the slug with the post title?

Thanks for your reply. I saw that suggestion already, but from the looks of it, it will sanitize the slug, which I don’t want to do, since it will strip the “the” and “a” etc. from the slug…

Any other suggestions?
