I disconected Jetpack and can’t get it to reconnect… Be careful with this

I am having the same issue, plus Facebook notifications and my subscribers’ list is gone and they are not getting the notifications.

No extensions, no ad blockers.

There was a similar situation with Press This some years back and had to do with the way the code was written. People actually had to edit it…(pipes?) and it worked.
Press This Reloaded came out and there were no more issues with any version of WordPress….till now.

Oh, Any site. I tried several, mostly news websites and I only get the pop up window with no quote , no title, no link.

re-installed theme Twenty Fourteen and activated it. The site appeared to be working.
Via File Manager, deleted Twenty Fifteen and then re-installed it via Dashboard/Themes and activated it.

Site now appears to be normal

Cleared both all caches, deactivated plugins, re installed, etc. Still out.

Simple question: Is there a patch for this problem in the works? I am figuring many of us are not code experts.

And now it is gone from IE
