Hi there, thanks for reaching out!
We haven’t received similar reports so I think it’s unlikely that MailPoet is original cause of the issue you are describing.
Would you please create a staging site and deactivate all plugins and switch to a default theme like Storefront? Once that’s done, please activate MailPoet and see if you are able to reproduce the issue.
Let us know how that goes!
Hi there, thanks for reaching out!
I understand you are looking to remove custom fields previously created through an import, right? If so, you can find detailed instructions here.
I am using Mailpoet integration from WordPress which is possibly the reason why I don’t have access to this function, but I haven’t got a clue how I could login externally on Mailpoet (it tells me my email address which I use to login on the website isn’t recognised).
You should only need to log into your MailPoet account to manage things like billing, plans keys, etc. If you are using the free version of the MailPoet plugin, you should still be able to create/delete custom fields. So that shouldn’t be the issue here. ??
I hope this helps!
Hey there,
is there a possibility to change the upper limit of 3 to a limit of e.g. 100 (perhaps a database entry somewhere)
That’s not currently possible. This limit is designed to avoid sending to many emails to subscribers which could eventually lead them to flag your emails as spam, affecting your reputation as a sender as well as MailPoet Sending Service’s reputation.
If you sent the confirmation emails three times to the same subscribers it’s likely that:
- They are no longer interested in subscribing to your newsletters.
- They didn’t sign up for your newsletters in the first place (i.e. your form was abused by bots with valid email addresses).
- The confirmation email is bouncing (i.e. there is a typo in their email address, there is an issue with the recipient’s email server, etc)
I hope this clarifies!
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out and for the thorough description of the issue!
In general, if sending is paused when MailPoet encounters an invalid email address (i.e.: an unprocessed subscriber), it means that for some reason SMTP is rejecting these invalid email addresses and returning an error classified as a hard error.
As there is no bounce handling out of the box unless you are using our MailPoet Sending Service, you have to delete the subscriber and then resume sending.
You can find out more about issues when sending with SMTP here.
If deleting the subscriber doesn’t fix it, I recommend checking with your third-party sending method if it will be an issue when your From address doesn’t match your SMTP username as mentioned here: https://www.courier.com/error-solutions/smtp-error-data-not-accepted/
I hope this helps!
Kind regards,
Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out!
I see that your subscription is in Pending Approval status. You can read more about our review process here.
Please contact us via https://www.mailpoet.com/support/sales-pre-sales-questions/ and mention that your subscriptions is still pending review. We’ll be happy to proceed with the approval process there.
Cheers!
I’m sorry to hear that the plugin doesn’t fulfill all your needs. Just to give you more context, it isn’t possible to resend posts using the Automatic Latest Content widget because sending repetitive content may lead to more spam complaints, which affect both your reputation as a sender and the MailPoet Sending Service reputation. So it’s designed this way on purpose.
However, the Post widget could be used for exceptions. I hope this clarifies!
Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out!
That’s odd! MailPoet follows the same standards of other WordPress plugins so it should be updated normally.
When a critical error happens on your site, it’s usually logged in PHP logs. Can you please reach out to your hosting to get the full error log and send it to us? They’ll need to know the date and time when it happened. Admin might also have received an email with the full log.
That will hopefully give us more clues on what could be causing this issue.
Thank you!
Hi there @detoris ,
Thanks for reaching out!
Updating a post doesn’t trigger the Post Notification. If you want to re-send an already published post, you’ll need to publish it as a new post.
Alternatively, you can create a newsletter and manually select the post using the Posts widget. Then, you can manually send the newsletter.
I hope this helps!
Hi Barry,
Thanks for sending these errors. The
Daemon run ended too early
doesn’t tell us a lot. And I see the other logs show the connection to https://bridge.mailpoet.com, which is expected, but it’s not clear whether the connection was successful or not. Can you send us a few extra details?- A copy of your System Info found in MailPoet > Help.
- Do you see more logs in MailPoet > Settings > Advanced > “See Logs” (at the very bottom)?
- Do you see errors logged in WooCommerce > Status > Logs (if you have Woo installed).
I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
Thanks for letting us know.
In this case, I’d recommend following these steps to test for conflicts. It’s likely that there is a plugin or the theme conflicting with the MailPoet form.
Let us know how that goes!

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] fatal errorThanks for sending these details. After looking, nothing stood out as a possible cause of the issue you experienced. Can you try to update again but this time doing it manually? You will need to download the latest version and upload it to your site’s FTP.
If your site crashes again, please send us a copy of .PHP error logs so we can hopefully find more clues on what’s causing the crash. Thank you!
Hi there,
It’s great to hear that most issues seem to have been resolved.
If I reinstall the plugin will I have to recreate all templates? Or can I save these somewhere?
Don’t worry,?you won’t lose any data from the plugin?since it’s saved in your database, not the plugin files. However, whenever making any changes like this, we recommend making sure you have a full backup of the site just in case. ??
Let us know if you keep seeing the error message after re-installing it.
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out!
Can you let us know what form placement is set for the form in question?
Also, is your homepage set up as an archive page?
Thank you!
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out!
Content is currently no longer displayed in the overviews. The text says “44/1,000 subscribers in your tariff”, but no subscribers are displayed in the list. The same applies to the other lists such as “Lists” and “Emails”.
That’s odd! Can you send us a screenshot of the MailPoet > Lists page so we can see the issue you are describing?
In addition, the error message “Bad hCaptcha nonce!” is temporarily displayed.
Where exactly this issue error message is showing?
Have you installed any new plugins recently?
Hi there @francesco1984 ,
Thanks for reaching out.
Can you please clarify where are you seeing this error message? If you could send a screenshot would be great.
Can you also send us a copy of your System Info found in MailPoet > Help. Make sure to remove sensitive information before sending it over. Thanks!
