In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] Sign up errorHi there,
Thanks for reaching out!
I understand you created two forms. One to display as a popup and the other as shortcode, and you placed the shortcode directly into a page on your site, right? And when doing that, the Pop-up form doesn’t work as it’s somehow mixing with the shortcode form and returning a “This field is required” message.
Can you please let us know where exactly you are placing the shortcode? Is it on a page, a post, a sidebar?
This way we can test it on our end and try to replicate the issue. Thank you!
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry that you are experiencing errors on your site.
As a first troubleshooting step, can you follow the instructions to?re-install the plugin via FTP?and let us know if it resolves the issue? This will ensure no plugin files are missing or corrupted.
Don’t worry,?you won’t lose any data from the plugin?since it’s saved in your database, not the plugin files. However, whenever making any changes like this, we recommend making sure you have a full backup of the site just in case.
If the issue persists, as you have a Premium license, you can use our support form for premium customers. This will create a ticket on our support ticket and you should get faster responses.
Thank you!

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out!
Although we provide support for the plugin setup and functionality, customizing its setup is a bit outside our scope of support, I’m afraid. You may want to look into hiring a developer from the WooCommerce Customizations page, who may be able to help you with that.
I hope this points your in the right direction!
Hi there, thanks for reaching out and sharing this feedback.
Our plans are based on the number of subscribers to account for costs with have with the number of emails sent through our servers and is aligned with most newsletters services on the market.
However, I’ll be happy to pass your feedback to our team and I appreciate the time you took for leaving your thoughts here.
I appreciate your patience.
Hey @volmering.
It is only possible for a small group of users of your plugin to make changes in a database.
This is the reason why WordPress and plugin providers exist at all. Thanks for sharing your feedback. I agree, and most times, database changes are not needed for plugins to work. However, that’s sometimes necessary, given the variety of hosting configurations and plugins functionalities. When it does, and our users don’t have the technical knowledge to do it themselves, we recommend asking for host support, as they can usually assist with changes like this.
Personally, I can manage this somehow, but I expect a little more customer service from a renowned company like MailPoet. Especially as I use the premium version for all my WP sites with MailPoet and also the sending service.
Note that if you have a premium MailPoet plan you can get priority support.
You wrote that it is not necessary to make these changes, but that doesn’t fix the small problem, does it?
For users that are experiencing performance issues while using MyISAM, then yes, the issue wouldn’t be fully solved without the database change. However, as my colleague noted, this won’t keep things from working, it would only slow down the sending process.
Hi there, thanks for reaching out!
That’s odd! This is the first report I see and we have thousands of users using WooCommerce and MailPoet together.
Can you please give us the following extra details?
- Are you able to reproduce this issue if you use a default theme and have all plugins deactivated except WooCommerce and MailPoet? You can test this on a staging site to avoid affecting your live site, if you want.
- Could you share a copy of your site’s System Status Report with us? You’ll find it at the top of the page under WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Download for support (after you scroll down a bit). Once you have the System Status Report file, please attach it to your reply. Make sure to remove sensitive information such as email addresses.
I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
You could use the other filters listed on the referenced page such as:
mailpoet_subscription_limit_window
Overrides throttling window (IP addresses memory span). Default:?DAY_IN_SECONDS
mailpoet_subscription_limit_base
Overrides throttling base timeout (the first one that gets doubled every time). Default:MINUTE_IN_SECONDS
Hi there, thanks for reaching out!
To help you investigate this further, can you please gave us the following extra details?
- None of WooCommerce order emails are being sent or just some of them?
- A copy of your System Info, found in MailPoet > Help. Please, make sure to remove any sensitive information such as email addresses.
- Screenshots of your System Status in MailPoet > Help.
I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi there, thanks for reaching out!
I couldn’t find similar reports from other users so I’m wondering if IP address is really the issue here.
Can you please share the error message users get when trying to subscribe to your newsletter within a short period?
Also, are you using a built-in MailPoet subscription form?
Thank you!

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out!
I understand you’d like to display subscribers filtered by lists on a website’s page, right? I’m afraid this is not possible, currently.
This feature is not on our roadmap so far because we consider that admins will check subscribers through WP Admin > MailPoet > Lists.
But you’re welcome to add it as a suggestion here?https://feedback.mailpoet.com
Our team will take it into account when discussing new features and improvements for the plugin ??
Thank you!
