I have a static blog page that I have the Reading Settings>Front page displays>static page>posts page pointing to: have a look The page that controls this loop from the “Reading Settings” is what I am looking for.

Is this where the blog posts are controlled?

I am looking for the actual file that controls the formatting of the “Posts Page”

The theme I am using is Mimbo. I have disabled all of the plugins but still have the space at the top which appears to be caused by the same problem. Help greatly appreciated.

The tutorial I am using is supposed to be very good, but apparently missing some things…

Resolved

Spaces may exist before the first character or after the last character in wp-config.php causes a problem. In my case, there was a blank line after the last character that I did not add. Found this on another site.

This problem has occurred for others and will be very helpful if notated in the forum.

I am 90% through installing WP 2.9.1 on XP Pro with SP 3

XAMPP is running installed at C:\XAMPP
Apache & MySql running

WP installed @ C:\XAMPP\wordpress\
Blank .htaccess in root

Cannot resolve:

“Object not found!
The requested URL was not found on this server…”

The apache error log file reports:
