Your customers cannot use Stripe on checkout, because we couldn’t connect to your account. Please go to your settings and,?set your Stripe account keys.
Appears at the top of the backend Admin screens, see below.
Additional Notes: We have checked the account keys and they are present and correct.
Attempting to resave the keys fails produced an “Error Saving Account Keys” message.
Testing the connection from the account key modal worked with no issues.- This reply was modified 1 year, 4 months ago by Gary Allman.
Many thanks to the Jetpack Team for helping me and coming up with this workaround, which I’m publishing here for anyone else encountering the same problem.
Use the Customizer to add the following CSS:
.slideshow-window .slideshow-slide { background-color: white !important; border: 1px solid white !important; } .slideshow-window { border: none; }

@jenhooks D’oh! Incognito browser fixed it. Support ticket submitted. Thanks!
@jenhooks That link appears to be a default search link, I couldn’t find any way to report a problem on that or any other page — including the support page. Sorry.
The page says to contact using the form below. Unfortunately, there was no form displayed below (I can confirm that I was logged into my wp.com account).

In reply to: [Simple Lightbox] Fatal Error in line 494 (php 5.6.27)Sorry for the lack of response. I probably have auto-updates turned on in various plugins (I ought to tidy that up) Jetpack, WordFence, and WP Time Capsule. Any of which could be the culprit. It’ll take time to mess with them and work out which is the guilty party, but from your response, that’s where the problem probably lies.
I’ve been using the Simple Lightbox plugin (highly recommended) for many years to do just this.
To work the images need their link setting set to link to the media file or the image’s attachment page. You need to turn off the Jetpack Lightbox option for Simple Lightbox to not conflict with the Jetpack lightbox.
Here’s an example of it: working with multiple images and galleries in one large post, just click on the first image to start the slideshow of all 47 images in the post.
@muchfun I wrote the review five months ago, so I can’t remember the exact logic of my decision regarding the rating. So from memory:
I believe it was based around the fact that it is not made immediately obvious that this plugin does not work unless you purchase the Lightroom plugin to go with it. This resulted in my wasting a lot of time trying to work out how to get a trial version of the software to test before buying.
My thought process was that a rating of 3 for a plugin I couldn’t test was too positive, 1 too negative, 2 seemed just right. It warns people that there is a possible issue if like me they prefer to try before they buy.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Are you listening? The answer is no. I reported the main UI issues that people are having now over a year ago during beta testing. My feedback was ignored, probably because it undermined the basic usability of the editor.
We cannot go back, as people are now working with Gutenberg — My sites now have a mixture of posts in both Classic and Block format, so like it or not, it will have to go forward.
In the meantime to try and make the best of this mess I’ve started reporting bugs on GitHub. https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Tiled Gallery FeatureExcellent advice Dale. Thanks. I’m following this thread. Hopefully, someone will update this thread when support for JetPack Galleries is included.
Review updated — thanks for the very fast feedback. I’ve now been able to find and apply the change I needed.

In reply to: [Twenty Seventeen] Header image pixelated on mobileI have the exact same issue. Installing Retina does not fix it.
Further investigation shows that this appears to be a browser (or browser support issue).
In Chrome the images are fine. In both Firefox and Edge the images are blurred.
I screen captured a header image side-by side in two browsers, here are the results.
Images: Firefox (Left), Chrome (right)

Edge (Left), Chrome (right)

So how can this be fixed? Something must be causing the problem.
Thanks for letting me know, it’s good to know that you’ve been able to locate the problem.
I’ll run some tests of my own on one of my ‘Sandbox’ sites next week, and I’ll let you know if I encounter any issues.
I have been very impressed with the way this issue has been handled, and very much appreciate the honesty shown. An excellent example of customer service. Thank you.
Thanks for getting back to me.
I restored to the latest back-up point 11/27/17. The majority of the files it restored were older – old plugins, an old version of WordPress, and old versions of all my theme files. I was able to fix the plugins and WordPress by reupdating.
My Theme files I updated by manually copying them from the WPTime Capsule Archive to the Theme folder on my server using FTP. So the backup appears to have been working, but it was the restore that went wrong — restoring the wrong versions of the files. Unfortunately I don’t know when the plugins and WordPress were updated, but I do know that my theme files have been updated over the past week.
