found the fuggin answer myself.

in /includes/modules/payment/paypal_ipn.php

edit out this

so search for “address_override” and edit out the bit of code above!

I tried Wp united and i couldnt get it to work. I went through the whole copy code thing and upload the new files to mod the phpbb and then it didnt turn out. The support was limited for the install on the wp-united site, so I gave up.

Looks like a sweet deal if you can get it installed properly…for now, I’ve just linked to phpbb3 on a different page.

it turned out that wp-cache wasnt compatible w/ GO DADDY.

I turned it off, removed it from the server and now its all good.

Not a bad first stab I would guess…look into your style sheet and make all the stuff line up. the name needs to go to the right and get otta the tree. the body needs to shrink to let the side bar to the top. close though…keep playin with it.

I kind of have the same problem. I deleted the index file on the server and didnt make a copy.

You’re saying I can just load the original root index from the install download and the theme from the theme download and put it back on the server?

Does the theme go in the acutal named theme folder (ie. citynight) or just in the theme directory by itself?

Nothing like wasting your time. I f’d around with my index file last night to see if that was the problem, now that’s probably messed up regardless. I didnt make a copy of the original, so im not sure if there’s a stock one available that will work or not. Looks like i’ll be starting over.

Diddo on the switching hosts thing. I’ve never done it either. I dont really want to fork over any more dough to make this lil project work either. uggh.
