I believe you could actually snag the swf in their (longtail) site and use that. It doesn’t have the watermark and I don’t believe the swf is site aware.

Probably edit the table so the field is not auto increment and add logic to the plugin to get max(gid)+1 when adding a new gallery.

You need to create or modify the appropriate template(s). I kinda wanted to do the same thing but instead I ended up wrapping the thumbnails in the front page inside a div with a scrollbar (jScrollPane) if there are more than 15 thumbnails but show all thumbnails in a gallery when you click to the post/article. It gives the front page a cleaner look I think.

Wouldn’t that be nice. That feature may have been submitted as a feature request already. WordPress or whoever should pick this plug-in up and throw some developers into it to make it a mature photo gallery plug-in. Anyhow, yes, it’s a manual process. Remember, even the album/sub-album concept in NGG was only recently implemented. This thing has a lot of growing up to do ??

If you update the path in the gallery settings of each gallery to the right path, it doesn’t matter how deep you go. There must be something I’m not understanding. I have my folders match the hierarchy of my albums/sub-albums.

I hacked the slidepress shortcode to add an xmlsource attribute.

The phenomenon of your thumbnails not lining is due to the width of the thumbnails not being uniform. This is an issue when you edit the thumbnail. I had brought this up with the author and he fixed it once but then the rounding has reverted back to only 2 places I think so it creates a thmbnail with an width less than 75 pixels.

The thing with your menu probably has something to do with the z-index of the menu element.

How about a link to your problem page? The width of the image of that page you pointed to seems to be set in the CSS.

Edit the gallery table by hand or write a quick php to do it for you (preferable).
