Have you tried some custom CSS such as:

footer.site-footer { display: none; }

That should take care of not showing the footer at all while retaining the necessary code constructs that may be needed for other features and functionality.

is it similar ? what is the best one to use, yours ?

i just want a contact form on left of my contact page with a small security like quiz or captcha.
any other plugin to suggest in case contact form7 is bad ?
