Our page builder’s support reported that their Divi 4.14.3 update caused all the problems around the checkout and the notifications.

Updating to the hotfix version fixed the issues.

Nope, the problem was that in the woo email setting we set up the new order email’s recipents for multiple email adresses.

After reducing their number to only 1 email, the one we are using in your plugin, it’s working now,

HOWEVER
You might want to look into this issue, because it’s on the plugin’s side, not our provider’s site!

Could it be a woocommerce update issue?
I updated the plugin yesterday I think

Sadly after “solving” this problem, notifications on failed, cancelled orders from simplePay payments are not showing. The headers gets the necessary data, but not a single “blue” notification row is showing up, also the customer’s information boxes are gone as well.

Is there any way to restore them?

So I found out, that it was actually DIVI’s fault, not the divi theme’s, but the built in core DIVI builder’s.

Here is what I did, so if someone else got the same proble, it might help.

1. (The cause of the bug): Is that you tried to edit the checkout page with the DIVI Builder. By default, the divi builder separates the checkout blocks and for some odd reason it brakes the checkout process
2. (To resolve this problem): Edit the checkout page again
3. Delete the modified Divi version of the checkout rows/blocks
4. Add a new code block
5. Insert the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode inside it
6. Save the changes
7. Hopefully it helps ??

As far as I know, there is now caching plugin on my site and I also tried it by disabling every other plugin except woocommerce and my cloned site is working perfectly, but here is the status report:

Hi @dcka

Since the writing of this topic, me and my collegues are began to use a product configurator plugin, which solved the issue, since we couldn’t find any other solution for this problem.

So I don’t know if I must close this topic, or leave it open for someone else who’s having a similiar issue – or if someone finds a solution.

My final thoughts on this topic is that maybe it can be solved with some clever javascript/jquery, but would love to see some in-built conditional logic feature in the future. It would be a nice touch.

Sadly It’s not solving the problem entirely. With the use of arrow keys it is still possible to select an already picked color, because the color option will recieve the attach enabled class.

Yup this is the problem.
Strangely on my older site I can’t reproduce this.
My older site uses an older version of WooCommerce, and it uses the same variable product method/setup as the new one, every product is identically configured just like on my new site.
Is it possible that this is some sort of bug in the newer version of WooCommerce or this is intentional?

…Or is there any way to fix this?

UPDATE:
I just realized that on my older site there is no “blank select option”. Probably because it was removed via code when the older site was made. And the reason was probably the same.

Is there any chance that WooCommerce can adapt this feature in a future version?
This could be a very useful feature.

So thank you for the help, I will remove the “blank select option” for now and hopefuly
it will work as a workaround for this problem.
