It depends on what control panel software your host uses but on my platform it is under Software -> PHP Selector. If you are unsure just contact your host provider and I’m sure they can help you out.

Just figured out the problem, make sure your PHP version is at 5.6(stable) or possibly later. I had version 5.4 and updating to 5.6 fixed the issue.

Yep same thing happened to me – going to try to restore from a backup. Figured I would come here first to see if there was an easier fix.
