In reply to: [Greg's High Performance SEO] blogname appended to secondary titleThanks to the efforts of JessStryker, who was able to provide some important additional details about what was happening, we were able to nail down a specific problem with secondary titles that was occurring under certain circumstances. A new version 1.6.4 has just gone out with the resulting fix.
Thanks again, JessStryker!
With all best wishes,

In reply to: [Greg's High Performance SEO] woocommerceHi Marie,
As we mention at the top of the plugin readme file, we’d encourage anyone with support issues or suggestions to visit our own site provided for that purpose, as we do not regularly monitor the WordPress forum.
(Please see the plugin’s “Instructions” tab’s section entitled “Expandability for Developers” for a note on custom post types.)
With all best wishes,

In reply to: [Greg's Threaded Comment Numbering] plug-in to avoidAs I indicated to magicolotto via personal email at the time, the problem deleting the plugin had nothing whatsoever to do with the plugin.

In reply to: [Greg's High Performance SEO] Duplicated meta and title tagsHi Ran,
Hopefully by now you’ll have seen the notice that we provide support directly, rather than here on the WordPress forums, so you’ll be aware to drop us a note if need be.
If you have had a chance to read the plugin’s instructions, you’ll have already seen lots of details about theme integration.

In reply to: [Greg's High Performance SEO] blogname appended to secondary titleHi ecdltf,
Hopefully by now you’ll have seen the notice that we provide support directly, rather than here on the WordPress forums, so you’ll be aware to drop us a note if need be. Alternatively, if you’ve had a chance to peek at the plugin’s instructions, you’ll have seen more about the secondary title and how it can be configured to behave differently than you currently have told it to behave.
With all best wishes,
GregIf you have a look at the plugin’s instructions, you’ll see there’s a second optional parameter for the GHPSEO output function that controls whether the output is automatically echoed. If you try to assign the GHPSEO output to a variable via a function is itself echoing that output, naturally it won’t be pretty.
All the best,
GregFor the record, people who actually read the documentation for my plugins — or follow that big ole link at the top of my plugins’ admin pages leading to “Information and FAQs” — and then decide to write to me typically receive a detailed personal email response within minutes, occasionally hours, very rarely days.
Yet some folks still do prefer to ignore my very simple request to contact me directly rather than to post random messages on a www.remarpro.com discussion forum — and then complain about how awful it is that I’m not doing more of what I have already said I do not do (namely, dedicating lots of my personal time to discussion forums).
All the best,
GregIf you have a peek at the instructions for the plugin, under “Expandability for Developers”, there’s additional information about how to filter/modify the contents of GHPSEO’s output or main title, secondary description, or meta description.
(There’s also a big ole link at the top of the page for information and FAQs.)
All the best,
GregIt’s always possible to add arbitrarily many extra meta tags — either directly in your theme files, or with a plugin — but GHPSEO doesn’t offer a facility to do this. To fill each meta tag programmatically requires additional code specific to that tag, and we can’t know in advance what extra meta tags someone might want or how they might want them filled in.
By the way, you might have noticed there’s a big ole support link at the top of each admin page in GHPSEO…
All the best,
GregHi folks,
If you’ve had a peek at the plugin’s documentation or any of the plugin’s admin pages, you’ll know there’s a support site and a FAQ for GHPSEO where this question is answered. (You’ll also know that I do not normally provide support via the www.remarpro.com forum.)
All the best,
GregPlease see the plugin’s FAQ, under “Does GHPSEO support my favourite plugin X (insert name of favourite plugin)?”.
The FAQ site is linked from every page of the plugin’s admin interface.
All the best,
GregAt the top of each page of each one of my plugins’ admin pages, there’s a link to support for the plugin. If you follow it and have a look at the FAQ, you’ll be able to save yourself some puzzlement. (Especially regarding how to submit a support request.)
All the best,
GregGHPSEO makes no changes to how template code is loaded; however, you may find that you won’t get full GHPSEO functionality if you haven’t completed the theme modifications outlined in the instructions.
