In reply to: [Display Widgets SEO Plus] Display Widgets SEO Plus Vs Display WidgetsHello David, thank you for your answer and effort with your plugin.
I tried it, but unfortunately it doesn’t work good with my theme (Elemin, paid theme),
I cannot see the options for hiding/showing widgets for a certain widget, just like with the original Display Widget plugin 2.0.5Widgets are set to show/hide a long time ago, and I cannot change it now for some time (since plugin became obsolete I guess).
I though I will get the show/hide option with your plugin again, but no luck unfortunately.
Will have to try with that Migrator/Widget Options plugin…Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Cloudflare] plugin needed or not@thellimist, thank you very much.
I looked at the link you posted, so it turns out that if somebody already has SSL protocol installed, has to use paid version of Cloudflare, to be able to run CF at his website.
If I got it right…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Cloudflare] plugin needed or notOK, I disabled the plugin via FTP (added old to name of CF plugin), and my website is finally back, without restoring DNS to my hosts.
Can you post some instructions how to use CF with SSL already running.

In reply to: [Cloudflare] Activating SSLHello John, I just wanted to tell you to be prepared for losing position in google for some time, because Google will now look at your website as a new domain, because of “S” in your domain now (https instead of http).
My website was completely lost for a week (maybe even more, and it was a loong week when I noticed that my website disappeared from google, I have a website ranking first for most of keywords).
What helped is adding a https version of my website to Google Search Console, so do that ASAP (as soon as possible). So don’t remove http, just add https version.
You will see that for some time, number of indexed pages of your website for https is 0 (ZERO) ??Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Cloudflare] plugin needed or notOK, I activated the plugin and got problems.
I have a SSL protocol with my hosting and CloudFlare is not working well with it.I got a:
“This site can’t provide a secure connection
ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR”
after activating the pluginWhen I open my domain with https:// (without s), it opens up, but without photos on it.
I have disabled CF 10min back, but still the same.
I will revert back to original DNS and hopefully resolve this.If you can help how to run CF with already having SSL, please post than instructions.

In reply to: [Cloudflare] plugin needed or notThank you very much for you quick answer!
So do you recommend activating the plugin after all?
If I activate the plugin, will it mess up something, considering that I activated the CF though my CF account already? If I want to activate the plugin, and configure CF more easily (automatically as you sad) should I deactivate CF in my account and vice versa?
I just made thing complicated I know… ?? But I was confused there, when I got a notification that all is done and to check things back in 24h, and then I got to my plugins and saw CF plugin deactivated for some time now… ??

In reply to: Images not showing anymorewas online with bluehost tech support for the last hour, again nothing!
They blame wordpress update for this and say its not up to them. They know nothing and completely worthless!!!I want to do a clean install of wordpress and my whole website :/
I should delete all files in my root folder, and I want to make a new database/user, a complete fresh install! After doing this (new database/new wp install), it will be completely fresh/new, right?

In reply to: Images not showing anymoreOK, my website is up again, the same problem is here again.
It is without a single plugin now. What I don’t get is why it installs a Russian version of WordPress??
I downloaded it from official WP download page!
The language of wp-admin page is in Russian, now it offers me an update to 4.7.3_RU
But the language when I log to wp-admin is EN.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Images not showing anymoreHi luckychingi, yes, I just deleted wp-admin and wp-includes and want to give it another try with downgrading to 4.7.2 and uploading 7 days old backup database for that version, when all was OK. Sorry, you cannot reach website now, it will be soon.

In reply to: Empty Image Gallery after WordPress 4.7.3 updateI tried all I know.
Disabled all plugins, empty cache, the same.
I downgraded my wordpress to 4.7, the same.
I restored with Updraft Plus, restored plugins/uploads/database/themes, the same.
I restored .htaccess file, when it was all working fine, the same.
I rebuilt the .htaccess file, the same.What/WHERE is the problem now, why it cannot read any photos now,
if not the core files/database/.htaccess??- This reply was modified 7 years, 8 months ago by Greg007.
