Thanks for your reply. That fixed most of the issues, but there are still instances where a duplicate entry was created with a “cap-username” profile, and that user’s posts are split between the user profile “username” and “cap-username”

Any suggestions to reconciling these?

I’m looking to install the exported file onto a clean WP install so I don’t think there’s anything to delete on that end.

If I need to delete something from my existing site before exporting, can you suggest where i should be looking?

I should also mention that I’ve already used the plug-in to transfer one of my sites over to GoDaddy and it worked great, but now I am trying to move a larger site (~5GB Backup) and so I’m running into these problems.

Last night, the ‘Restore from Backup’ option seemed to be working, but the progress would stop at 96% or 97%.

Could you make sure that you have set permissions on wp-content to 775 or 777 recursively?

I’ve been unable to do this after a few attempts. My site is hosted on WordPress – could that be why I’m unable to update the settings?

I get an error:

I had a Facebook Open Graphs plugin which I disabled, and that removed one of the titles from the Google+ posts (there used to be 3, now only 2)

When I turned off Add OpenGraph meta data from the Yoast SEO plugin, it fixed my problem on Google+ but it also removed my <title> tag altogether.

So, I had to add it back. Any ideas how to work around this?

It’s not the G+ button, it happens when I post directly on Google+

I copy my URL, go to my Google+ page, and paste the link.
