Your not the only person with this problem because I have the exact same issue!

I upgraded my from 1.5.2 and had the problems so I had to revert back to the old one. The patch also did not work for me.

I’ve been following the forums for a while now and there’s been no solution. I hope the developers know this is a problem and will address it with a patch.

it takes time for your posts to appear in SERPS. Permalinks is bugged and there’s no word on any fixes.

If you are worried about your lost links, you should revert back from your backup.

I have the same problem as Football. I tried post id/post name and it won’t work.

I have a very similar problem. It does not work with custom: /%post_id%/%postname%/ . All the other options work fine. I upgraded it to 2.0 from 1.5.2. I have no plugins activated.

I just tried importing posts from 4.0.1 Textpattern to 1.5.2 and it does not work.

ok I think I know what the problem is, assuming your feed validates properly. I think feeds need to be indexed by Yahoo before it will work. The feed you just added probably has not been indexed by Yahoo so nothing happens right away after you added it into your My Yahoo.

After adding it to My Yahoo, go to the bottom of the page and you should see a empty box with no news headlines. That is the feed you just added (even though it doesn’t say so.) It should update itself after a while I guess in 10-20 minutes after Yahoo indexes the feed.

Another thing is to make sure you click on Edit->Edit Content and display articles in the past whatever days you want. If you set it to 2 days and there has been no new posts in the last 2 days, no news headlines will show up.

Let me know if this is the case.

I had the exact same problem Arlo had. Then I added the <?php do_action('wp_footer'); ?> and it fixed it!

o weird. I guess maybe my browser had it cached and it showed me the old feed. Thanks. ??

I’m using feedreader.com. If you like light and simple, you should try it out.

Hey, finally got time to test it. I still get the same warning Monika gets when viewing a post and the post is the only post in the category.

ok, I did more testing. When I place your code above:

<?php comments_template(); ?>

the comments doesn’t show up and it says:

“Comments are closed.”

It doesn’t allow anyone to post comments and old comments does not show up. If I place your code under <?php comments_template(); ?> everything works fine.

oops. I just realized this. When I use the code, it closes the comments on the post.
