have you checked that whether the post or topic is linked to the category & have you published your post as well? because if the category is correctly selected then by clicking the category it must show the post as well.

Yes it is possible and really Very easy. Just follow the simple steps mentioned below.

make categories with all the name mentioned above. In category Real state do not select any parent category but in property south-africa select “real state” in parent category. do the same with all other catagory. Real estate will be the parent category for all the child category mentioned above e.g.

– property south-africa
* property Jeffreys Bay
– J-Bay houses -1 mio
– J-Bay houses 1 – 3 mio

Now go to design then widget. Activate category widget in any sidebar you like and after adding it click edit in category widget and select “Show hierarchy”

Ans: In category Widget you can select your categories to be displayed in your website pages & in manage categories you can add new categories, edit them or delete them. Or you can assign different categories as parent of child categories.

I have seen the website you are talking about. Can you tell me that while making new category you mentioned category name and category slug as well? there might be some problem with the widget in the theme.

yeah u can easily categorize them. first select parent category as parent category and in child category select the parent category from list.

Now go to Design in wordpress 2.6.1 then do to widgets and in widgets select the cataegory widget currently activated.

Edit the categories option and select Show hierarchy.

You will see a category tree in your sidebar where the parent category & child category will be present.

Thanks Alot Taddmenecer .. The code Helped me alot. as there was not file in like mentioned above is my style sheet but by removing images/logo.gif url from header and putting the one you mentioned solved my issue.

DO not try this Plugin if you are not sure about the problem you are having in wordrpress 2.5.x as i have done so resulting in my web page giving error 500 and i was unable to open my website even with wp-admin.
I found the .htaccess file in root menu that was hidden and we need to view hidden file to access it. I have deleted the lines this plugin added and FINALLY I can now open my site.

I Have Tried the Plug in name Suckerfish method. I wanted to Grouop all sub pages under the main Page (parent page) but after applying that plug in the scheme was as followed.
There heading under the header named “Home | Pages | Catagories | Archives where as i wanted the parent page name on top and in scroll down menu i get the sub pages as drop down menu.

Here with this plug in when we bring our cursor to pages then it gives name of parent pages and if scroll to any parent pages it further gives the subpages. There Might be some code that can change it or any other plunging that can serve the purpose
