You can disable and enable subtitles for page or for post underwriting settings.
Login to your Admin panel go to settings>writing and you will find two options
1)Allow Sub-Title for Posts (For Public view)
2)Allow Sub-Title for Pages (For Public view)
Now you can easily disable or enable this feature
