No answer? I’ve seen a few more posts about this and none of them are resolved. This is a big issue for those of us selling virtual products!

Having the same problem and we’re not the only ones. I’ve seen quite a few other posts about this that have not been addressed.

I am having this problem as well – I have the latest version of WordPress and Woocommerce. When I add a product as a “virtual” one and hit “publish”, the virtual option is unchecked automatically and then customers are charged shipping costs. This does not happen with downloadable products, just virtual.
