Sadly, I can’t ignore the message because it’s true (I made several tests about it).

Although I think I find a solution for the problem. I unchecked the option “Synchronize the content of the Recipe post and parent post” and now the copies are working as they should.

Initially I thought that unchecking that setting meant that the item and recipe were no longer connected and, updating the first, the second would not be updated as well. Instead it is not like that.

I already read the article but all is correct as you show. Besides, there is a problem with Gutemberg too because in recipes the options “Add to reusable blocks” is not showing. Have you any idea about this?

With Yoast Duplicate Post, instead, these are my step:
– Menu > Recipe Cards > All recipes
– Then copy a recipe with the option below but with both Clone and New Draft and Rewrite and Republish I get the alert “Update this Recipe, and the changes will apply everywhere it’s used. You can find the link to the parent post below”.

We sell books but we have only a different category of stuff (stationery, games,for example). I wish to disable the plugin only for single product or one category.

No, sorry, that’s not my case.

Our website sells copies of a magazine. We offer free shipping by coupon code only for the current magazine issue and for a limited time (for example for our #107 magazine that you have seen in my screenshots).

The coupon code offers free shipping by item and not by order (see screenshots).

Although all the copies must have the same shipping class because shipping cost is calculated by weight with table rate.

Maybe a user want to add to cart a lot of copies of our magazine and different issues of it.

So your plugin with “group by shipping class” setting enabled should not applied the item coupon code to all the item in the same shipping class.

Example of cart:

Add Item #1
Add Item #2

(they have the same shipping class)

Shipping cost = 10 euros (example)

Then user try to add a coupon that enable free shipping only for item #1. Ok, coupon is applied but in the cart there is also Item #2 so the shipping cost must be the same 10 euros.
