It’s likely a theme issue, which can be tested by switching to one of the basic WordPress themes so see if it still gives you a problem. If the reviews show up on a stock theme like 2016, then you know your them is the issue.

Please provide the following info:

What version of WP are you using?
What version of WP Customer Reviews are you using?
What theme are you using?

Also, try putting the page ID (563) in instead of “ALL” to get rid of duplicates.

It sure does! You would simply activate reviews on each page you want them to show up for, and declare the post id in WPCR_SHOW POSTID=”XXX”

Go to Dashboard > Reviews > How To Use for more info.

Not a stop-gap at all. It’s not noted clearly in our documentation, so I’ve made a note on that for some future FAQ’s. This functionality has been in there since the beginning.

What version of WP are you using?
What theme are you using?
What version of WP Customer Reviews are you using?
Is this a new install of the plugin?
If not, did anything change just before this issue happened? New plugins, theme change, etc.?
Can you provide a link that will help us help you?

Here are some basic troubleshooting steps you can try first:
1. Deactivate and reactivate WP Customer Reviews, then see if the problem still exists
2. Deactivate all other plugins, then see if the problem still exists
3. Change to a standard theme, like 2015, and see if the problem still exists.

The goal is with these steps is to narrow down the issue and find out if it’s a plugin or theme conflict.

Report back with more info and we’ll see what we can do.

@jon Hardison, if you click the Enable Customer Reviews for this Page box AND you use the shortcode, you need to make sure you declare the post ID or you will reviews will be duplicated. For example,

[WPCR_SHOW POSTID=”15″]

This will get rid of the duplicate.

What theme are you using?
Can you provide a link that shows the issue?

Yes, it would require changing every time its upgraded. I don’t like the current default either, so we’ll talk it over and see what we can come up with. There won’t be a quick fix, however as I don’t anticipate a feature update for a while. For now I suggest trying your fix and remember to update it if we happen to do a new release.

@whohaugh, we don’t have an import/export feature at this time. I realize it’s not optimal, but you can import csv files through phpmyadmin if you know what you are doing. Agreed…it’s a pain in the #$%. Thanks for the heads up on the other plugin. I’m checking into that. Did you buy the pro version?
