In reply to: [WP Customer Reviews] WP Costumers CarouselGood question, and cool idea, but no, not at this time. That’ would be a killer visual though, wouldn’t it?
We are including a rotating review in the Pro version, due Feb 28th. I’m going to ponder this carousel idea for the future, though.

In reply to: [WP Customer Reviews] No more free supportHi Andy. I’ll take a moment to address this for all to see, set the record straight, and to give an update on Version 3.
We have never offered free support. It’s a free plugin, one we thought we were doing everyone a favor by sharing. We actually never planned on a paid version, and have released updates and and answered questions in the forum for fun. Once in a while we get a donation from someone that really, really needs something fixed and is willing to pay for it. I promise we aren’t holding support back, we simply haven’t had time.
That said, since the plugin is so popular and demand is high, we started on a re-write of both a free and paid version. Should you choose to use either in the future, that would be awesome. If not, we totally understand. If you really, really need it to work now and can’t wait for version 3 (much cooler version) and the support that will come with the pro version (we work much better when properly motivated :), feel free to submit a support ticket on our website at https://www.gowebsolutions.com. We charge $89 an hour, we bill in 15 min increments and will tell you how much up front, can usually fix things pretty easily, and are able to do most requests within a few business days. I will make sure of it.
Thanks you for your support.

In reply to: [WP Customer Reviews] Great Plugindooramooz, please see the announcement we’ve just posted at https://www.gowebsolutions.com/wp-customer-reviews/. I would especially appreciate it if you gave us your input on new features. Thanks!
essaysnark is right, it’s up to Google if they pull the stars into the results. It they do, it’s just the results page at this time. We are working on a Pro version that has a sidebar widget and possibly shortcode to include an Overall Ratings widget that would appear on every page. The hope is to get Google SERP results to pull the star ratings in for every page.
In all cases that I have seen, Google has to actually index the reviews page, so standard SEO rules would apply there on if you show up and how well.
Google does not show actual reviews in Google Places/Plus pages in the, but they used to show a link to review pages on your website in the “Reviews from around the web” section. Unfortunately I have not found an example of that in a while, so they may have stopped doing it. No sure what the criteria was for that to show up.
Good luck.

In reply to: [WP Customer Reviews] Overall ratings in new version. When?Hi all. Yep, we are working on an overall ratings function for the new Pro version. Look for an announcement in the next week on Ver3, both free and paid ??
Hate to tell you this, but Google no longer shows 3rd party reviews on Places pages, only links to the reviews. Here are a few articles from last summer covering the change:
https://searchengineland.com/google-overhauls-place-pages-emphasizes-reviews-kills-citations-86914
https://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/google_places_makes_its_move_pushes_other_reviews.php
https://smallbiztrends.com/2011/07/google-cans-third-party-reviews-places.html
Not at this time.
You may have missed a reply I made yesterday to another question. The plugin sends a notification to the email listed in Settings > General (from WordPress, not the plugin).
Enjoy.
No. Not sure you’d want to as it’s against their terms of use: https://maps.google.com/intl/en/help/terms_maps.html
Yes, they do as of about 3 weeks ago. Look at the places page for Zeta Hair: https://maps.google.com/maps/place?q=zeta+hair+green+valley+az&cid=13151321579457189188
Under “Reviews from around the web”, you will see zetahair.com listed ??

In reply to: [WP Customer Reviews] [Plugin: WP Customer Reviews] Import/Export ReviewsHi all. I am looking into this function for a future paid version. Please stay tuned…looking 4-6 weeks.
It is a standard hr tag. You can change the css to increase the size, but it would be a global website change.
Try to disable all the other plugins to see if it stops it from doing that. Also under General Settings (from the plugin), make sure that the Enable options are not checked.
It goes to the email listed in Settings > General (from WordPress, not the plugin).
Enjoy.
clickbridge we don’t see any text there to display.
