In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Site Description in Search EnginesSame problem. I’ve looked all over, and can’t find a solution that doesn’t involve editing my header.
I’ve entered the site meta description in the Meta Description Template box, in the Homepage tab of Titles and Metas. When I look at the page source, I see what I entered in the
<meta name="description" content="[site description]">
tag. Please help. This is making my client unhappy. ??
Hey @realtm,
Have you found any time to work on this? I understand what it means to donate your time, and I (and I’m sure many!) appreciate it. If money isn’t the issue, is there anything we can do to help make an update easier for you?
My client loves your mini-player, and I’ve looked high and low for another SC plugin that gives the same display. Apparently, it’s not out there. We’re using 5 different SC iFrame embeds to accomplish what your plugin does much more elegantly—and while it amounts to annoying that we’re using so much space, the pressing issue is the enormous amount of JS slowing load speeds.
Thanks again,
AdamOkay, not sure what changed, but it appears to be working fine now. If I get another error, I’ll log it in the Support area for the plugin. Thanks for your responsiveness!
@kwisatz On install, I get an invalid header error. ??
@kwisatz Sorry for being unclear. I think I might have confused this plugin with another—you know how it goes when you’re interviewing several for a job. I’ll look at it again today and get back to you if I do, after all, have an actual request. ??
Thanks! Do you have any plans to include the post excerpt? That’d make it essentially gold to me.
@kwisatz Awesome, thanks!
Did either of you end up porting and bringing this plugin up to speed?
Thanks!
@bravo315, THANK YOU!
Thanks, @mordht and @sunshinephotocart!

In reply to: [PixProof - Easy Photo Proofing for Photographers] Image Approval+1. I just installed and am trying to figure out how to see which images have been approved. A list would be fantastic.
Tracks haven’t changed privacy settings in my case. If you’re right, and Soundcloud made an API change that only allows HTML5 players, it that something you can accommodate on your end? I’m happy to donate (glad it see it was a momentary glitch), but I’d like to donate toward the use of working plugin. Could you give us a number that has to be raised to cover your time?
Thanks again,
Adam@realtm, I don’t know what you’re seeing, but it’s not what we’re seeing. This is what we’re seeing:

@realtm, just went to your site and tried to donate, but the PayPal link is bunk. ??
@realtm, what I see from your screenshots is that you’re having the same problem we are. It’s not that Flash is blocked, it’s that we can’t get access to the audio from SC. I’ve tried downgrading to an earlier version of the plugin, and the problem is persistent. Edit: I just downgraded to 2.2, and I can’t get any of the players to show up on the site at all.
On your suggestion, I just tried the other display options, and it’s true that the HTML5 player is working, but it’s the only one that works. I have no software blocking Flash; the only extension I’m running in my current browser (Safari) is AdBlock, and it’s turned off for the sites I’m working on. I’ve tried it in Chrome and FireFox, as well, as stated.
I also think it’s fair to say we’re not having a personalized problem: a lot of folks are having exactly the same issue.
I, for one, would be happy to send you some cash toward fixing this problem. Is there somewhere we could do that en masse, so you could get some compensation for your trouble?
