It was suggested that I use filezilla to change the top file directory back to the original name (drop the .old) while I troubleshoot. I’ve tried that with filezilla, but it seems to make no difference. Do I need to re-upload the renamed file folder to my server site?

Thanks. That does work. I still liked the way it did it before, where you could see the visual of the embed box and manipulate it, move it around, resize, etc. Seemed better.

I’m having similar issues. When I switch to visual mode, I can no longer resize (or even see) and video that I have embedded in HTML using <object></embed></object>. I just upgraded to 3.1, to assuming that is part of the issue? feature change?

When I put that into the HTML of the post (with the actual youtube link), and switch back to the visual it just shows up as [embed]https://youtube.com/?p=8973jd[/embed] and embeds a link to the youtube videoinstead of the yellow box denoted the location of the actual video in the post, which i could once re-edit and resize. it was simple before in the older version..so I’m sure I’m missing something. Still not working right, however..any additional suggestions?

@rev. Voodoo — I used the plugin you mentioned. It worked on my test try. But then when I went back and added more files a few hours later, the new files I added did not appear in the plugin to be added to the media library. They did show up in the correct folder in Filezilla, however. Any ideas? :S
