Hello Adam,
Version 1.137.0 of the Site Kit plugin has been released, and I’ve applied the update. After that, the 500 error on the homepage was resolved. Just wanted to inform you.
Have a good night.
I don’t have any other issues.
Thank you again for your attention, solving this problem would have been very difficult without your support ??
Have a great day!
Thank you so much for your help and support, Adam!
I’m currently using the Blossom Mom Blog Version: 1.1.1 theme. I’m open to your suggestions for a new theme for my blog.
I updated the theme I am currently using but the problem is not solved. I switched to the default theme on your advice.
Using the default theme solves the problem. I think the only solution to this problem is to change the theme.
I’ve checked the extensions, and everything looks fine. There’s a new theme update available, so I’ll back up the site and give it a try.
I’ll let you know the outcome. Thank you so much!
Hi Adam,
The server was restarted, the PHP version was updated, and other plugins were toggled on and off. The issue is clearly coming from the Site Kit plugin—when it’s activated, only the homepage (while the admin panel is active) throws a 500 error.
Other pages are working fine, and there’s no problem with any of the pages when viewed in incognito mode.
The plugins I’m using are as follows:
Contact Form 7
Cookie Notice & Compliance for GDPR / CCPA
Easy Table of Contents
Google taraf?ndan Site Kit
Jetpack
Jetpack Social
Classic Editor
WP Rocket
Yandex Metrica
Yoast Premium
Thank you for your support. I will contact you if I still cannot solve the issue.
I did the test you suggested. I didn’t encounter any problems.
I disabled and re-enabled the other plugins, testing them one by one. When all other plugins are disabled and only Google Site Kit is active, the homepage gives a 500 internal server error.
Dear Adam,
Thank you so much for trying to help.
The issue I’m experiencing on the site is related to the Google Site Kit plugin. When I deactivate the plugin, my issue is resolved. Will there be a plugin update regarding this?
Hello Adam,
Thank you for your response.
I’m attaching the site health screenshot.
The homepage opens in an incognito window. Even when I’m logged out of my WordPress account, I can still access the homepage. Similarly, I can access pages other than the homepage while logged in as well.
