Hi Tiffany,
Our recent release has fixed the category selector issue, but on your site the main menu is still overwriting the first two sub-categories when expanding the “Felekezet” and “Megye” categories. To prevent this add following CSS at Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

Maybe have a look at the default pages that are created with UsersWP, it may be close enough to what you need?

Yes, you can do that with the “User Meta” widget/shortcode/block.

Hi Roman, the placeholder can be edited with the language files in the same way as explained here: https://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/article/97-how-to-translate-or-localize-geodirectory
By default the Login form does not say “Email” but “Username”.
Thanks
GeoDirectory has its own SEO options, but is also fully compatible with Yoast and Rank Math.
You can find more info @ https://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/article/369-settings-overview-for-general-titles-metas and https://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/search?collectionId=5e7220c92c7d3a7e9ae95ce4&query=seoYou can always start without Yoast or Rank Math, and you can add it at anytime if you find you need to.
Thanks
I have no idea how come they don’t exist then. Maybe they were not created when the new site was set up and the language changed.
And why can they not be restored?/wp-content/languages/ does exist and can be written to.
Gremlins I suppose. Thanks
Thanks Justin, now I understand what is meant there ??
May have found the problem: multisite …
“the only option the the paid WPML.”
You do not need WPML if you just want to translate your site.
You only need WPML if you want a multi-lingual site. Loco Translate does not work for multi-lingual site.
If you just want to translate to another language, the best free option is PoEdit.“Loco is the only free alternative to WPML for translation.”

On further review, it seems server related.
It happened to 2 sites which are on the same server, but not to some other sites on a different server. Al versions are 5.8.1.That sounds very much like you did not set up the API key correctly.
If you swap to Openstreet Maps, does it work? That would mean your Google Map API is not set up correctly. Please refer to https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/add-google-api-key/Did you add the location by dragging the marker to Vilnius, so Google’s API added the name of the location? If you use your own version of a location, and not Google’s, your search might not work that well because the search function uses the Google API to compute your locations.
