Problem solved – anyone else gets this problem the solution is to change both .htaccess the wordpress one and the gallery2 one to 666.

I had only been changing the WP, duh!

Found that the pluggins are for gallery2 rather than WP and I have them installed, I still have the same problem in wordpress tho.

I can’t validate due to a Error 15 Which reads:

“Cannot write to the .htaccess file”

I’ve tried changing it to both 644 and 666 and still I can’t validate.
